RESEARCH IN THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Computing provides a wide range of computing and mathematics-related research activities. The researchers are organised into a number of groups each specialising in a research area. Members of staff have considerable success and experience in the conduct, direction and supervision of research. Much of the work is of direct industrial or commercial relevance, and many staff work closely with major industrial partners.
