Multi Agent System (MAS)
Many important computing applications such as planning, process
control, robotics, communications networks and concurrent systems will
benefit from using MAS approach. We are developing theoretical
foundations and architecture for MAS based upon: commitment,
planning, joint activities, conflict resolution and negotiations of
critical importance is the language for the representation and
manipulation of MAS and the reasoning mechanisms employed. A
framework for a hybrid language (logic and object oriented) has been
developed. The syntax and semantics of the language have been defined
and we are currently investigating proof methods and executional
models for MAS.
