Putting it all together
This section puts all the previous theory together to produce a view
transformation. The figure below on the left is a projected image of a
cube. The figure on the right shows the relationship between the
viewing parameters and the viewed object. The plane onto which the
image is projected is shown as a black sqaure, and the green lines connect
the perspective reference point to the corners of the viewing plane. The
world coordinate system is shown for reference prurposes in blue.
Anything inside the pyramid defined by the green lines will be displayed
on the camera on the left. In this example, this includes the red cube.
As you use the mouse to change the view on the left, see how the viewing
pyramid on the right changes to reflect the change in camera position.
